books I’ve written

Untitled design (17)I’m a writer.  I write because I do not know how to NOT write.  I’ve written for more years than I can remember.  I spent my childhood lying awake on warm summer nights writing stories in my head, only to forget them when the bright sun woke me with the promise of another day.  I spent quiet winter days filling notebooks with poor grammar, misspellings, and long, dry dialogues between characters who lived in my imagination.  I’ve journaled for years, sometimes with pen and paper and other times with keyboard and screen.  I’ve written memoirs and poetry… fiction and fact.  And, all the while, writing a novel remained on my “bucket list” until the fall of 2011 when…I wrote a novel…

Often people ask, “where did this story come from?” My only answer is GOD! He gives me the words and teaches me how to get it all done. This story is fiction. It is not about any one person in my life. It is not even about my life. Yes, there are some cameo appearances of real-life people… it’s just for fun. However, this story is my little way of honoring my warrior friends who have battled or are currently battling the beast known as breast cancer. Though this is 100% fiction, this is for them.

WHAT OTHERS ARE SAYING…

This book is a beautiful story of friendship. A story of lives intertwined from years of living life together as a unique family. It is well written, and comes directly from the heart.

Even if you have never experienced what the characters are going through, you will encounter the many emotions that come with it. If you’ve gone through a similar experience, your heart will ache, remembering your own situation and how beautifully the author describes this difficult process.

Throughout it all, learning to count the gifts in life is something we can all do. This story illustrates how simple it is, yet how hard some of us make it sometimes. You will be inspired to live each day by being present, and taking notice of all of the amazing gifts we are surrounded with.

Excellent book! Tammy Helfrich, author of Becoming A Life Changer

WHAT OTHERS ARE SAYING…

Have you ever read one of those great stories that you would get upset when ‘real’ life got in the way of your reading time? Where the characters became close friends and you cheered for their growing? This is one of those books. Can’t wait until the 3rd one comes out. While each book can be read separately, you will want to get the first one also to read “The Secret of Counting Gifts”.  Tammy, Amazon customer
